What we back, and what we do not
We are an operator-led angel group. The partners invest their own capital, which is why decisions are quick and why the help afterwards is specific rather than advisory.
What a fit looks like
A team that has already built something
A prototype, a pilot, first revenue — evidence that you ship. At pre-seed the team and the unit economics are the only two things that are real yet, and that is where our diligence goes.
A border in the plan
We are most useful when the next step involves crossing one: entering a new market, changing a structure, or raising from investors who have never worked in your home country.
Something hard done with very little
Constraint is the most reliable signal we know of. What you built before anyone funded you tells us more than the projections that come after.
What you get beyond the cheque
Structure that survives diligence
Incorporation and a cap table done properly the first time, IP held where it should be, and financial modelling that holds up under questioning rather than under a friendly read.
The border crossing
Redomiciliation, banking, hiring across jurisdictions, and the version of your story that international investors actually respond to. We have done this in both directions.
Introductions that mean something
To the investors who typically lead the round after ours, and to operators in the category who can answer a question faster than a consultant can scope it.
Where we are the wrong people
Saying this plainly saves everyone a call. If one of these describes you, a pitch is unlikely to go anywhere — and we would rather you spent the hour on an investor who fits.
- Companies with no product and no evidence — a deck and an intention is too early for us.
- Rounds where we would be the only money and the company needs a lead with a much larger balance sheet.
- Businesses that need us to be a regulated fund, a broker, or an adviser. We are none of those.
- Founders looking for a passive cheque. If you do not want operators in the room, we are the wrong people.
- $10k–$200k
- Pre-seed, seed
- Not required
Think you fit?
Send the deck. A partner reads every submission and you get an answer either way, including when the answer is no.
